Funding Bittylab

Looking for funding

Now that I have the design ready and manufacturer selected, it’s time to search for funding. I heard about kickstarter.com, a website is dedicated to help people like me connect with investors to get finances needed to execute a project. Bittylab’s nurser should be a perfect fit.

After all the years of hard work that got us to this point, you are all invited to be a part of it. Next steps are to begin getting the attention of retailers and create “buzz” via social media and word of mouth advertising.

I’ll keep you updated.

Bittylab was born in 06/2010

After 2 years of intense work and research to solve baby bottles issues, it's time to let it see the light.

Bittylab was created with baby needs in mind to offer innovative, functional and advanced baby products. Bittylab's nurser will be the first of the line to launch in December of 2011. Bittylab only offers the best for your baby, therefore, the materials used in production must be BPA, PVC, Lead and Phthalate free. The anatomy of the Bittylab nurser is silicone & Triton brand plastic; both very safe food grade materials approved by US FDA regulations. Other parts that will not touch the food contents include nylon, used in kitchen utensils and polypropylene used in other baby bottles.

Like nature intended

What are the benefits?

This nurser goes beyond a nipple design by creating a system of technologies that work together to mimic the breast. From nipple response, areola shape & texture, milk dispensing, latching process, to milk storage & milk delivery without any air to prevent gas & colic with maximum nutrient retention. "Your breasts don't have air-vents, why should bottles?

This nurser is so complete and so well thought out to solve all issues of breast & bottle feeding that it goes beyond the physical features to achieve unexpected benefits like accelerating self-feeding and training babies the proper way to latch. This baby bottle is the only one in the market with a one-piece silicone nipple, certified chemical-free and approved by the USA FDA.

Can a baby bottle help a baby feed himself?

Carlton is now six months. The OB doctor suggested that he should be 100% on formula because the baby inside me will need the nutrients. Carlton started learning how to hold his bottle but first he needed to understand gravity laws in order to take a sip. I thought to myself, if the baby bottle had a straw attached to the nipple he’d be able to get the milk. It took him weeks to figure out he needs to turn the bottle upside down. Every time he fed himself while sitting up, his neck will turn all the way back, I could see he was very uncomfortable. He took a couple of brakes so that he could rest his neck before he finished a bottle.

There’s a point that needs to be addressed, a baby bottle should help the baby feed himself.
