Where can I buy this bottle already!!!

Hi readers, yes... I hear you. Lots of you are asking “where can I buy it, I need it NOW.” Well we are working at the speed of light to bring you BARE as soon as we can. As I mentioned before BARE is going thru rigorous tests to perform its best. A safe assumption is that we will have distribution in the summer/fall.

Moms know better

Necessity is the mother of invention. No one knows better than a mom when it comes to her baby’s needs. Moms constantly question the purpose of many mom/baby products on the market. They often encounter useless products that fail to serve their needs. In order to make her baby comfortable and make her life easier, moms are constantly coming up with a better way of doing things and either invent something totally new or modify an existing product. Some of these moms share their ideas with other moms who often say, “Oh you should sell that, it’s so useful!!” Then, a product is born along with a new career.

While many moms are novices in the formation of a business enterprise, their desire to share their products with the world serves as a catalyst to embark in the manufacturing world. Each step along the way has its own rewards and gratification.

Personally, I find it tremendously gratifying that moms who have heard of BARE air-free are very anxious to use it with their babies because it fulfills a common, yet unmet need.

As I’m moving ahead with the production of BARE, I want to promote other moms who have had a brilliant idea and have turned it into a product. So every month Bittylab will be teaming up with mom-invented products and hosting giveaway contests. Be sure to participate and support moms in business.

Moms for Mom: join the cause

MOMS FROM ALLOVER THE COUNTRY COME TOGETHER TO HELP BRINGING THE BARE CONCEPT TO LIFE —A MOM-INVENTED PRODUCT

A New York mompreneur has invented the baby bottle of the future. BARE air-free baby bottle is designed to solve all baby bottles issues. BARE emulates a mothers breast from the way it functions, it's benefits and advantages to the way it feels and moves inside the babies mouth. Moms are coming together during the month of July to fund the project on the popular website kickstarter.com

"I lived thru the problem therefore I know the solution" says Priska Diaz, BITTYLAB's founder and CEO, and the brains behind BARE. "My breasts don't have air-vents, why should baby bottles? was the question that started it all", Diaz adds.

Like 90 percent of first time mothers, Priska started breast feeding exclusively after the birth of her first child. An inadequate milk supply, however, caused her to supplement her breast feeding with a bottle. Frustrated by the poor performance of feeding bottles that rely on air vents, gravity and traditional nipples, Diaz designed BARE the first air-free baby bottle that emulates a nursing mother’s breast.

CTV News Edmonton reported about new research, recently published in the Journal of Pediatrics, which links baby bottle use in toddlers to obesity:

“A large new study finds that kids who were still being put to bed with a bottle of milk at age two were more than 30 per cent more likely to be obese by the time they were five.
The study authors conclude that prolonged bottle use may lead to the child taking in too many calories each day. It may also train the children -- and perhaps their parents -- to use food and drink to comfort the children.”

I designed BARE air-free with features that ensure that the infant only takes what he/she needs. The specially punctured Perfe-latch™ nipple works in synergy with tip extension and Air-plug™ action to only dispense milk upon suckling, like mother’s breast. Additionally, BARE air-free allows baby to feed in a more natural, upright position for better digestion and helps avoid the unhealthy habit of infants feeding in lie down position. Babies who are fed with BARE bottles may transition to straws and open cups earlier than babies who are fed with conventional vented bottles.

Vented baby bottles may contribute to the problem stated by this study because of the excessive amounts of milk dispensed and gravity-based feeding that drives infants and toddlers to feed in an unhealthy lie down position.

“The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that parents avoid putting their child to bed with a bottle to prevent tooth decay. The Canadian Pediatric Society also recommends beginning the transition to a sippy cup after six months and, if needed, using water in a baby bottle at bedtime.”
